The bodhran is the main percussion in irish traditional music. It is usually played with a double-headed stick and Glen Velez introduced hands/fingers new techiques to play it and also a new design of bodhran to better respond to these new techniques.
The one you see in the pictures on the right is a 20" Coopeman Bodhran with synthetic head and tunings system.

The riqq is a small tamburine with heavy brass jingles. It's very common in arabic traditional music and can be found throughout North Africa, Meaddle East and all the arabian countries.
Traditionally it has a natural skin (fish, goat) but modern riqqs with synthetic head and tunable system can be now found.
The one you seeon the right is a Copperman riqq with fish skin head and tuning system.

The tar is a frame drum very common in North Africa and Meaddle East. It traditionally has natural skins and it's not tunable but it's currently easy to find tars with synthetic head and tunable system.

The bendir is traditionally found in North Africa, especially in Marocco.
It's very similar to the tar drum but it has a snare inside, stretched across the skin, which produces a sound similar to the modern snare drum.
