Frame Drums Europe
 Fram Drums Europe is a non-profit organization I founded in 2005 with Paolo Cimmino and Andrea Piccioni.
The aim is to promote the European frame drums history, culture and music. The mediterranean area's frame drumming culture is probably the most ancient and rich, even if it's not known as it should.
In 2005 Frame Drums Europe organized the European Frame Drummers Meeting 2005, the first frame drumming festival ever organized in Europe. Many drummers from Europe and US enjoned during three wonderful days in Barcelona. Next yeat, Fram Drums Europe organized the European Frame Drummers Meeting 2006. Unfortunately the European Frame Drummers Meeting 2007 couldn't take place.
In 2005 Frame Drums Europe also organized, in Mallorca (Spain), a Tamburello workshop where Andrea Piccioni tought the different Tamburello and Tammorra techiniques.
In 2007 Frame Drums Europe started a collaboration with Cooperman Drums & Fifes to sell their instruments in Europe. The website will b ready very shortly (January 2008) at http://drumsshop.framedrumseurope.org. In the meanwhile to order Cooperman drums please contact me.
